except in bathrooms at first for some reason but once I realized I was transgender those started making me feel weird too. It doesn't matter if it's official segregation or it just naturally happens like that thing kids at school dances do where there's boys on one side and girls on the other side for some reason. For example, when a character in TV enters a gendered space I feel uncomfortable and want the scene to end. This would be fine (well, probably unhealthy, but still inoffensive) if gender separation was a neutral thing or a white people thing (I'm white),...
