at 14 and who you are now at 20 are worlds apart. It's clear that your mom loves you and wants the very best for you and was prepared to fight to save you from everything, including yourself. Tell her the truth, it will set you free. Sure, she may get a little angry (agree with comment below...she will understand) but she will never hate you and never stop talking to you. Given what you were experiencing she will most likely understand that it was a lie that went way too far and you just never knew how to tell her. If you can't say it, maybe write a letter to her..But definitely, tell her.
