literally every single (good) friend i have here at college are so fucking rude and grumpy and negative and always have an attitude and always think they are above everyone else and it's so annoying. i am one of the happiest people you will ever meet and ive surrounded myself with all these negative people and i cant escape it. i'm literally nothing but nice to everyone and i always have a smile on my face yet they treat me like shit and when i get an attitude or when im having a bad day they act like its the end of the world. i swear next time they do this im going to call them out because i cant take it anymore. sometimes all i do is ask a fucking question and they freak the fuck out. i'll literally ask what they said and they start yelling like i already told you i am hard of hearing, i'm sorry..... what the actual fuck...... im so mad yall dont understand. i've gone through this for an entire year i cant believe i've made it this far. on top of it, i have a friend that doesn't think she falls into this category so she's always talking shit about the others but SHE IS THE EXACT SAME WAY!! i just laugh because she is so hypocritical it's amusing and annoying at the same damn time.

i developed a nervous tic after i was bashed in 1994 and it got uncomfortable and eventually it went away and now i only get those things at rare mild occasions. but I still feel a compulsion sometimes to tell people to "F off" I feel bad about this because I think its not right to do that but it feels good when I do assert myself at a strong level and one counsellor told me to and she said "that was very brave of you to stand up to someone who was not treating you right , good on you! I am proud you had the strength to make them understand what's important to you"
