as kids i thought we were rich if we could afford soap or shampoo, my said when she was young her entertainment was a ball of wool to knit as a married woman after her first child , a ball of wool all of 4p or something entertainment for the fortnight. fuck that thank god I don't knit. my entertainment was was cleaning the house listening to tv music shows at night and weekends, we never had a car so we never went anywhere.
