My cat loves me so much he meows at night when I go to bed, and I can't sleep if he walks all over the bed so he gets shut outside. Because he meows, I lock the poor soul into the balcony.

Then suddenly, you call me one night and tell me you are going to find me, the perfect guy. I start to cry. and cry and cry. secretly of-course. Why would you say such things, when you know my heart belongs to you. My heart starts to silently shatter, crumble, and fall to the ground. Was I wrong, was this all a lie? Nothing makes sense anymore. Then you tell me you're going to Saudi for 42 days, & that you won't be here for valentines day. I don't make a big deal about it, but I'm hurting inside. You tell me again, about how I deserve an amazing guy. Our texts get colder and colder. More distant as the day goes by. You ask me, if I don't want a better guy then, what do you want. I pause, I don't know how to reply. Inside I'm screaming All I want is you. All I need is you. Please don't hurt me.
