God I fucking hate my partner’s daughter. She’s a repellent. What I really resent is the intrusion into our lives. I have no children of my own for several reasons, and it seems like my choice to remain childless is being vindicated. It’s a small consolation that the child lives interstate with her mother so my interaction with her is limited to brief visits. Rationally I understand and accept that as his daughter she will always be top of his list in terms of affection and responsibility.
