never walk over a log step on top of the log first in case a snake is under it. make a lot of noise and get a stick and hit the grass the snake will stay away from the noise vibrations hit the grass thehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW4aezW8BBQ. snakes will go where food is like chicken coops etc and wild birds nests. during the day always take notice of the birds, they will tell you if a snake is around. one day a snake was in our yard and the birds called out to my mum and I seen the snake. My mothers mother used to pick them up by their tail and break their neck by cracking them like a whip and I don't advise anyone to do that. a snake can bite but they decide if they will break their venom sake to kill. I get sick of dreaming about snakes over the past 15years its driven insane. dreaming of them in my bed and I am always afraid of them getting in the house. my dad has killed a few scorpions. I respect them but I am scared of them. so long as they don't come in my territory I avoid their territory.
