I stole a RAM memory card

I had an old computer and want it to be faster, so I took the 512 MB memory card from my own office computer. I installed it on my home computer and didn't start, it was unuseful, so I decide to install it back to my office computer but I misplace it!! and memory card burned, all the office realized that was my fault, but never realized I have stole the card. My IT partner just replace my card for another one of 512 MB, but I felt ashamed…
